BigTime ships with a dozen different timesheet formats, and you can select one that is right for your firm. You specify your company's timesheet format in the Operations section of the program (at the bottom of the System Settings...General page). Below is a partial list of the timesheets that ship with the system, but you should keep in mind that we add new timesheets periodically. Check the support website for a complete list.

If your firm is going to use budget items, but you are not going to have staff select a labor code when they enter time, these timesheet (one spreadsheet style and one weekly style) don't have the labor code field.

In addition to customized timesheet formats, you can use the controls in the Timesheet Settings section of the System Settings...General page to change the following items:
While some companies want to see a simple list of customer names, others would like to see a customer heading and projects beneath it. BigTime also offers a lookup style that mimics the QuickBooks job lookup pick list. The lookup style is related to your project display name settings, so you should consider both settings as you setup your initial timesheet format.
Keep in mind that timesheet settings are set for the whole firm (not on a person by person basis). There's an entire section in the Configuration chapter that addresses timesheet settings, so refer to that section for more details on your settings and options.
