Getting Help in BigTime

For most employees, a quick review of the timesheet instructions and a half-hour of training are all that they will ever need. For manager, administrators and others a more detailed review of the System Guide may be needed. There are also a number of additional help resources available as your staff gets familiar with BigTime and its various options:

Help Menu Items

The on-screen Help menu contains a link to the help files that ship with BigTime, and those files allow you to search for help on specific topics. That help system contains more up to date information than the System Guide, so it's an excellent resource for answers to detailed questions.

You can get to online help from the Help menu item on the main menu.

Online Training

There are a number of online training courses which are offered regularly from the Edison's Attic website. Take a look at the Edison's Attic Support Site for more details on the free live training courses that are being offered right now.

Knowledgebase Articles

In addition to the System Guide and help files (both of which are available online for download and both of which are contained on your BigTime installation CD), there is a large Knowledgebase for registered users within the online support resources section of the website. You can get to the Knowledgebase from the BigTime Learning Center.

User Forums

These are a great source of insight from other members of the BigTime community. In addition, our senior technical staff regularly patrol the user forums, so you'll see a number of discussions of real-life situations which may mirror your own needs. The user forums are also located in the BigTime Learning Center online.

Technical Support

BigTime offers both email and phone support to customers with an active maintenance agreement. Take a look at the BigTime website for the most up to date contact information for our support team. EMail support is available from support@EdisonsAttic.com, and phone support is available to registered users from our main phone number (312-346-4646). Our phone support lines are open from 9am to 5pm central time.

Professional Services

A large number of our customers have very specific requirements that an off-the-shelf package like BigTime simply can't predict. The system is, however, extremely flexible.
