If your firm has dozens of employees, each one submitting and re-submitting timesheets during the day or two your managers spend reviewing them, the whole process can get hard to track.
Managers can always jump to their Management... Review Timesheets page to see what they need to approve, and employees can goto the Daily Routine... All Timesheet screen to see what time has been rejected. But, they may forget.
To help the entire firm keep track of timesheet reviews, BigTime has created a simple set of emails that can be sent out to managers and staff automatically. They're scheduled emails (so managers, for example, will only get one email per day), but they keep a reminder in front of your staff that they need to approve or correct timesheet data.
Once there is no more timesheet data to review or correct, staff members will stop getting emails. Take a look at the Email section of the Configuration chapter for more information on how to activate and use system emails.
