When you create invoices in BigTime, the system follows a fairly simple workflow.
In this section, we'll cover some basic invoice workflow settings, and we'll talk about how to setup a default invoice review workflow. Keep in mind that you aren't required to have invoices reviewed and approved by anyone. You may decide that nobody needs to review invoices (or that you'll just have managers review the printed invoice instead of reviewing it online). Even firms that use the electronic review feature in BigTime often decide to post or send out invoices that are still awaiting approval. The entire approval process is non-blocking, so even unapproved invoices can be printed or posted to QuickBooks as required.
