By default, all of your users will login to BigTime using their email address as a login name. While most of our customers use that setting, BigTime has a number of additional options which may be a better fit for your organization. You can change your login style ONLY from the BigTime Monitor. Just choose the Action...Edit Login menu item, and you'll see a screen similar to the one shown here.
You can select one of the login styles at the top of the screen and then click SAVE to update how BigTime users will login to the system. The default "administrative user" is specified at the bottom of the screen, and a sample login is shown as well.
Keep in mind that login names must be unique in BigTime. You can't, for example, have two users with the same First Initial+Last Name combination and elect to use that particular login style. Making that selection will cause an error.
