A/R Aging in BigTime
BigTime doesn't have it's own payments feature. When you receive a payment from your customer, you'll post that payment in QuickBooks.
Then, BigTime will spot that payment when you run your Nightly Sync, and it will update it's A/R aging data (as well as the "paid" satus of the invoice) automatically.
- The Project Dashboard's Invoice History screen shows a "paid amount" and a "balance due" field that lets your managers know the status of every invoice you've posted to QuickBooks. Note that invoices that haven't been posted yet are considered "unpaid" (even if there is a credit waiting for them in QuickBooks).
- The Invoice, Print/Post Finals screen shows you the same payment details for every invoice in your BigTime system.
- Printed Invoice formats typically have a sorting/filtering option which allows you to display A/R aging detail for the project in question on the printed invoice you send out. Once again, any unposted BigTime invoices will be considered unpaid.
