Edison's Attic publishes regular updates to BigTime, and we make those updates available for free to anyone with an active service contract.
Notifications will be sent out from our support department whenever an update is available, but downloading and installing that update is your responsibility. Sometimes, updates will require you to reboot your BigTime sever, so you'll want to run them at an off-peak time.
Downloading updates is simple. Just open up the BigTime Monitor and choose the Maint... Check for Updates menu item. BigTime will contact the Edison's Attic website, check to see what updates should be applied to your system, and then popup a website page where you can download the update(s) to your PC.
You should download those files to your PC and save them as you may need to re-apply them if you ever need to re-install BigTime on another computer. Updates are typically cumulative, so you will only need to apply a single update for the entire year (as opposed to applying each of the 3-6 updates that are published during the course of a year).
