Reporting

In addition to hundreds of screens that show time, expenses, budgeting, invoicing and other data withing BigTime, the system also ships with over 150 standard reports. Each of those reports has been used by thousands of companies around the world in order to help them get a better handle on how their staff is spending time, how projects are progressing, etc.

This chapter will review some of the most popular reporting options in the system, and we'll show you how to get your reporting data exported into a format that's useful. We'll even review some basic custom reporting features.

But, we won't review specific reports. There are so many standard reports in the system (and they're updated so regularly) that a proper review of all the systems reports would simply require too much space. Instead, we've added report descriptions and samples within the report selection screen itself. There's also an excellent reporting sample packet available for download from the Edison's Attic support site. Take a look at either of those resources for help in identifying reports that your firm might find useful.
