Tabular reports can be exported to PDF or XLS format using the export buttons in the toolbar at the top of the page. the system will download the format you select to your desktop.
PDF reports can be exported to Word ("DOC") or Excel ("XLS") format. There is a selection box located right beneath the PRINT button on the PDF report settings page that tells BigTime how you'd like it to return the data you've asked for.
Right beneath the PRINT button is a selection box that tells BigTime how you'd like it to return the data you've asked for. While the standard reporting output is PDF format, you can ask BigTime to give you the data in Excel spreadsheet ("XLS") format or Word document ("DOC") format instead.
Many of the reports in the system support "native" XLS format, so the totals and sub-totals that are produced are actually XLS formulas. For reports that don't support a native XLS export, the system will convert your standard PDF format data in order to approximate an XLS spreadsheet. Note that all of BigTime's Tabular reports support native XLS format.
For reports (like invoices) that aren't in a regular columnar format, the DOC format is a better export option. Open the resulting file in PRINT PREVIEW mode in order to see it within Microsoft Word.
