Project Privacy

BigTime allows all users access to the project dashboard, no matter what projects they are staffed on. In order to prevent users from seeing dashboards they aren't a team member on, you would need to turn on the project privacy filter in BigTime.

To turn that filer on, just goto the Tools...System Settings...General Settings page. There is a "make projects private" check box on that page (in the Project Settings section). If that check box is activated, users will get an "access denied" error if they try to access dashboard pages that they aren't staffed on.

Note that this feature is different that they system security permissions related to projects. Those permission hide screens from your users even if they are staffed on a project. This permission adds a lock to all of your project folders. The only way to get inside is membership on the project's team list.
